bigdamnnerd | In which I ask you to talk me out of getting a kitten

So, after I move, it's pretty much a foregone conclusion that I need to get another cat to keep the Claude company. A friend of mine took in a stray pregnant cat, and she had a litter of 7 on Jul 4 (so they're just 6 weeks old now).

Now, I originally wanted an older cat, because they're a bit more sedate and whatnot, as well as being already fixed and filled with shots. But I fear I'm being overcome by the cute.

Edit : Also, if any of you are in the market for a cat or two, I can get you in contact with the people who are looking after these.

"If anyone of you would like to adopt any of my 7 kittens (they were born on the fourth of July, so they are 6 weeks going on 7), please let me know. The grey one that we call "Football" has been spoken for already, even if I can't get a hold of that person right now. Hmmm....Anyway, They all need homes with good, responsible owners. If you would like one (or know of anyone who might), please let me know!

There isn't a lot of light today, so a couple of the pictures are dark. I also tried to pair them up, in case you would like two of them (recommended if you don't have any cats already). They are all either brown tabbies or grey tabbies, although Football is mostly grey. All are shorthair, although Torty and Bear look like they might grow to be medium hair."
