Mac Hardware Roulette

Of course, right after I buy my first new Mac in years, Apple bumps the specs on the model I just bought. Luckily, it's not too big of a deal -- 2.16 GHz processors rather than 2.0 GHz, a 8x DVD writer rather than a 6x, and a 160 GB hard drive rather than 120.

Still, it's annoying that I got hit by it.
