I think one of the cats peed on the rug in rat's bathroom. No big deal, right? Unfortunately, it's turned into the drama of Sunday night.

Rat scrubbed the rug in the tub, and put it in the dryer to dry. Now, the rug still reeks, and the dryer does as well. Of course, I didn't notice until after I had washed my nice new sheets. I thought that the dryer would air itself out, but doesn't seem to be working. The bright idea had occured to me that the dryer would blow out the stinky lint (if that was indeed the problem)...so for some dumb reason I tried to dry my sheets. 5 minutes later, that was clearly a bad idea--the sheets are hanging off anything possible in my bathroom, covered in Febreze. I think they're salvageable since they weren't in there for too long. I'm such a dumbass sometimes.

Trying to dry a towel soaked in the aforementioned Febreze didn't seem to help at all with the smell, so on the advice of the all-knowing internet (yay Google), I washed out the inside of the dryer with Soft Scrub (the closest to actual bleach I had), and am seeing how that goes. It looks promising, but I guess we'll see.

*grumble*
