cleanin' like a mofo

I spent the sweltery heat-filled 4th of July in the a/c doing what might have been called "spring cleaning" had this event taken place closer to actual spring.

The fact that I can fill up an entire vacuum canister when I vacuum the living room would seem to indicate that I need to do it more often :D.

However, the counters are clean, the shower has been scrubbed, and the cats are coming out of hiding after the hoovermonster got put away.

Now, I must find something to eat, after throwing away a clove of garlic that went bad (I'm pretty sure that's an unpardonable offence).
