Ghost World

Finally got around to seeing Ghost World. That movie fukn rocks, and definitely needs to go on the DVD purchase list. It seemed kinda depressing, though. That's probably because I'm someone who mostly self-identifies as a Seymour type, and things never seem to work out quite as nicely as they did (for a while, at least) for him.

Also, Thora Birch is really hot. (moreso when she's not in crap like the D&D movie). The fact that I've been attracted to geeky brunettes with glasses pretty much forever kinda goes along with that. (I can't be the only guy in the world who had a thing for Daria).

However, I'm really kinda drained after that.

So, it's off to fall asleep while watching other movies...

She totally looked like a girl I was really good friends with in high school, and just as weird too. Even the way she reacted to things was so similar that her character kinda freaked me out.

I miss having cable so as to watch Daria. I *so* loved that show.

yeah, and it wasn't on for a while. I had no daria-access till d insisted we get digitimal cable. it's playing on some sort of channel for girls up around channel 120.

The Nogin or Nog'n network, or something like that. I wouldn't say it's just for girls...more like young adults in general, though there are cartoons for children in the mornings. There's some pretty edgy and funny stuff on, especially later at night.

Oh, OK.

I was simply basing that guess on the sorts of ads and filler material that played during Daria. Funny that, the ads were mostly girl-biased.

mmm...

digital cable. *drools*
I once had that..., and a roommate that had some strange attachment to the couch and tv.
