+ sleeping in till noon
+ SNES games all "morning"
+ restarting last summer's Mutants & Masterminds campaign (after converting to 2e)
++ Ifihadahifi
++ Strippers
+++++++ Strippers + Ifihadahifi!
The show kicked ass. Definitely worth the drive. Though I must say I'm a bit confused on one point: Is "Westallica" some sort of Milwaukean slang for "West Allis"? That's what I assumed--it seems logical. But if it is, it's obscure enough that the one of the top hits for "Westallica" is the Hifi page announcing their show at Heartbreakers.
- getting pulled over for an illegal U-turn in Brookfield while in search of a open stop-n-rob to get a snack for the drive home @ 2:30 am
- getting pulled over for said U-turn with expired plates (which actually were paid for (late) last Oct/Nov, but I haven't gotten my stickers yet)
+ remembering to say "gas station" instead of "stop-n-rob" to the nice police officer
++ Finding out that yes, the DOT has the record that my plates were renewed!
++ Getting off with just a written warning for said U-Turn
- spilling gas all over my clothes before I even left for Milwaukee because the pump was stuck in the ON position.
There's really no plus side to this--my clothes, leather jacket and boots are currently airing out sitting on my trunk overnight. Gas *should* come out, right? It's a light enough molecule that it should vaporize pretty completely, I'd think (and that's the impression I'm getting from the internets).

"Westallica" is a nickname that either my friend Chuck or i coined for West Allis; i forget which of us did it. But we managed to work it into the local lexicon enough that i heard a WMSE DJ who i've never met use it on the air about two years ago. We are mighty!
