Well, after winning a replacement logic board for my sickly (broken power connector) laptop on Feb 10, it was *finally* shipped last week.
Got it yesterday, and decided it couldn’t take *too* long to put in, so I started the surgery at 11pm last night.
At 2, when I went to bed, everything was finally put back together. The battery was charging, which it didn’t used to do, but the power button wasn’t working at all. Yay external charge meters for batteries! I’m hoping that I just didn’t seat the power button connector properly.
As an added bonus, once things are working right again, the laptop will have miraculously undergone a 20% speed boost! From a whopping 400Mhz to 500! Woo! Feel the speed!
