Since when can they fly?

So I'm playing Transformers: Decepticons for the DS, and in the beginning there's a training mode.

When you learn to use your laser, your target is an Autobot helicopter, just hovering there waiting for you to blast it. Your response?

"Since when can they fly?"

Since of course the way you could tell old-school Autobots and Decepticons apart was that the Decepticons could fly, even if it made no sense.
