Spectrum is Green!
So, they’ve remade Captain Scarlet (classic UK “Supermarionation” show) in “Hypermarionation”, which is apparently code for “CGI”.
I’ve only seen a few episodes of the original, and only episode 1 of the new series, but it seems to have kept the feel of the show well enough. It’s even got the trademark back-and-forth tympani scene cuts. From what I understand, there’s a bit of a change in the Black/Scarlet intro story, but whatever.
Woo! Now my gamer-ferret-mind wants to play or run a Spectrum game.
