about the handfasting

Just to be clear, it wasn't a wiccan/pagan thing specifically (in fact it was about as secular a handfasting as I've ever seen)...Kate and I decided (last year-ish) to have a marriage of sorts, just for us. No guests, no marriage license, etc. We decided we liked the symbolism of the handfasting and the binding, and that was the primary reasoning behind things.
