There are, however, some fictional characters which are min-maxers - like Daredevil.

Player: Oh, I’m blind (-6) but I have radar sense (+4)! So I can see better than any normal man!

GM: You asshole. Just for that, your ex-girlfriend is a psychotic ninja who wants to kill you.

Player: KEWL! Is she hot?

GM: Sigh....
