...or at least my ability to fix it. The stupid thing is still completely non-responsive when I try to boot it up (after the logic board replacement/upgrade). Grr.
I’ve submitted a help desk call to DoIT--the laptop is probably going to end up at DoIT’s repair facility to see if they can figure out why the dang thing won’t boot. It’ll cost money, but it’s cheaper than getting a new laptop, and boy howdy is having a working laptop handy. I hope the Help Desk is more competent than it used to be--I think the message I sent them would confuse the heck out of a standard phone droid.
