this weekend has made a vas deferens in my life

Yay! Got my vasectomy Friday afternoon, and recovery is going quite nicely. Really only needed the frozen pea ice pack on Friday night, but kept it up due to Kate's insistence throughout most of Saturday. Time to start researching pea s00p recipies for ratthing.

I really was expecting more of a hassle. There's no more pain since Friday n ight--just a slight tenderness in the region, and there's been no swelling or additional bleeding or anything. The only real sign anything has been done to me is a very small incision that's healing up (well, and a partially shaved scrotum, and I'm sure you're all very interested to know that :D ).

Spent the weekend being nursemaided by the loverly evilevi. She *forced* me to watch the first season of Six Feet Under as well as Hedwig and the Angry Inch. I told her that I was perfectly willing but she insisted on the _Clockwork Orange_ style harness. Good times...
