After poking at my new tape library at work saturday morning (to no avail!) and general head-scratching about why the fileserver is *still* crashing, I took the new bike out for a spin. having a recumbent means my ass no longer aches after biking. yay!
Then I got to perform my best-manly duties at my friends Akira and Rebecca's wedding. It wasn't bad for a wedding--short, sweet, and to the point. Which was good, considering it was in a back yard and threatening to rain the entire time. You know you're a geek beyond all help when your wedding ceremony contains blessings from "the wisdom of the god of peace, the passion of the god of love, and the shining blade of the god of justice, Heironeous). A yummy dinner at the White Horse and dancing at the 'no followed.
Easter was spent at the parent's, of course, and wasn't much out of the ordinary. Grandmother prodded about whether "Madison contained any interesting women"...she had to settle for "I'm sure it does, but I haven't found any that are interested in dating me". I'm trying very hard to convince myself that I don't need that kind of complications just now. (not that it's working well :D). At least they haven't really been poking at the kids issue. I'm not sure how I'm going to break the vas to them (if at all).
