so, I've been reprimanded again for not updating my journal...
...so here goes.
I think I just DVD'd myself out of going to the ad hoc nincon this year...admittedly I did spend the money before I was really planning on going, but still. Woulda been fun, but I need almost a grand to get to Usenix this year. Yeah,I'll get paid back for it eventually, and I only need to spring for room and board while out there, but still. A grand is a lot of moola.
*sighs*
also, I taught another fun-filled course at work today. Two whole people showed. wheeee.
for those of you that don't know yet, I'm single again. Not like I wasn't mostly single before, but now it's official. back to bitter singlehood for me. fuck it.

Though, I must admit, I had a hell of a good time tonight. Dinner at hong kong cafe, and resident evil with terri, laurie, akira, and daryn. I need to get out more, and I don't mean the inferno. I need to vary my routine. I fall into them far too easily.
